Bio: I started volunteering with the SRFC and the end of my M1 year when the clinic reopened after its temporary closure during the pandemic. Shortly after, I moved into my role as Project Coordinator and have served in this position for the last two years. I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to personally watch the clinic grow and expand as a direct result of the funds we have raised over the last two years.
My favorite memory is from a fundraiser we hosted last year in my hometown, Huntsville, AL. Many alumni from the College of Medicine practice in Huntsville and it was great fun to share about our hopes and dreams for the clinic. This was our largest fundraising event last year and because of the generosity of our donors, we have been able to expand our services offered at our primary location, the Salvation Army Dauphin Way Lodge, and expand to two additional clinic locations.
